  • Is Capsicum accredited with the DHET?

    Capsicum is a skills development provider. Skills development providers do not require DHET accreditation, provided that they are registered with the relevant accrediting body. We are registered with the QCTO and CATHSSETA. 

  • Does Capsicum offer NSFAS?

    Capsicum does not offer NSFAS as we are a private institution. We do however offer affordable payment plans. 

  • Does Capsicum offer learnerships?

    We currently do not offer learnerships.

  • Does Capsicum offer accommodation?

    No, unfortunately, we do not. We are, however, centrally located to make finding private accommodation a breeze. We are always on hand to give you recommendations should you so request. 

  • I did not take Hospitality/ Consumer studies in high school; will I still be eligible to enrol?

    Of course – Each course has entry requirements, the main requirement is a good understanding of Mathematics Literacy.

  • Do the fees include accommodation?

    Unfortunately, separate will be a separate choice should you choose to seek out private accommodation. We are on hand to recommend accommodations should you so require

  • What is your application fee?

    The application fee is R1000 

  • Where are your campuses?

  • Do I need matric to apply?

    No, you do not need a matric certificate for all our courses. Please speak to a student advisor for more information in this regard. 

  • Require Financial Assistance?

    Need the financial assistance to take that next step towards securing your tertiary studies? We are supported by Student Hero. Registered Students Payment Portal

 If you are a Registered Student and would like to make a payment - please click below to access the payment page. Please enter your Student Number as a reference. You will require a credit card or internet banking (EFT) to make payment via this portal. If you would like to make an EFT please ensure that your card is registered for online purchases and that you have internet banking – select OZOW and your appropriate bank when making payment.


If you would like to use a credit card – please ensure that your card has been registered for the Online Payments - 3D Secure service.
